“My name is Ms. Willie Mae, I’m 72 years old and I’ve been recently diagnosed with Stage 4 Colon Cancer as of January 2016. I live with my daughter Kuan-Yin, she takes care of me. Along with New Century Hospice. I have three best friends my sister Lady, Mrs. Wilkins and Mrs. Washington whom I love dearly along with my kids! This has been quite the journey for us… but we are fighting with our minds and hearts in order to get through this life changing challenge. I love having family and friends over to visit, going out to eat and watching my favorite TV shows AMCs The Walking Dead and Tyler Perry’s The Haves and Have Nots. I watch these shows with my daughter Kuan-Yin and I love watching cartoons with my grandson Mekhi! I’m taking life one day at a time and enjoying the out pour of love and support from the community, family and friends.”
