“I am an 85 year old man living and being cared for by my daughter and her family. I served in the US Navy during the Korean War. I am a retired Electrical Technician, and owned my own business for 60 years. I retired 3 years ago and moved to Texas from New Jersey, 2 years ago. I have a dog named “Bum,” and that he is; as well as my best friend. I have two daughters and two sons. Both sons live in NJ, one daughter is in Colorado & the other here in Texas. I was an elected official for over 20 years and loved serving my community. I was also a member of the Lions Club for over 50 years. Now, I like to watch the old TV shows; Bonanza, Andy Griffith, Gilligans Island, Love Boat & Chips with my four grandchildren. My hands don’t work so well anymore, but I love to read, it’s just hard to hold up books now, so my granddaughter reads to me. I love to eat seafood, but at present I am unable to eat anything. I’m hoping radiation will help that. I love and know the Lord, and I’m grateful for the life I’ve been given.”
