Michael received the startling diagnosis of Colon cancer just a few short weeks ago. He shares, “I am an avid reader of science fiction and Westerns (reading is a good way to pass the time in chemotherapy!) I live in Austin with my wife who is very creative and loves to make jewelry. I enjoy doing woodwork and in recent years I have made many canes. I am not feeling very well at present due to chemotherapy but when I feel better I plan to make wood toys for Santa to give out!”
